The role focuses on SuiteScript development, integrations with RESTlets and SuiteTalk, and improving manufacturing workflows from BOMs to WIP and production planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
• Experience developing NetSuite integrations using RESTlets, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP APIs, and web services.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite custom records, workflows, saved searches, forms, roles, permissions, and reporting.
• Experience working with NetSuite manufacturing functionality.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including BOMs, assemblies, work orders, routings, WIP, inventory, purchasing, and production.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate manufacturing and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1.
• Develop and maintain Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and other custom solutions.
• Customize NetSuite to support manufacturing processes including work orders, assemblies, BOMs, routings, WIP, inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
• Build and optimize workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports, custom records, forms, and fields.
• Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, CRM, and financial systems.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Automate manual manufacturing and operational processes within NetSuite.
• Troubleshoot script errors, integration failures, performance issues, and other technical problems.
• Support inventory accuracy, costing, production reporting, and manufacturing-related system processes.
• Assist with NetSuite implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and post-go-live optimization.
• Support data migrations, imports, integrations, and system changes.
• Maintain documentation for NetSuite scripts, integrations, customizations, and technical processes.

This individual will be responsible for developing custom solutions, improving manufacturing workflows, supporting integrations, and ensuring NetSuite effectively supports both financial and operational processes.

The ideal candidate will combine strong SuiteScript development experience with an understanding of how NetSuite operates within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1.

• Experience integrating NetSuite with WMS, MES, PLM, shipping, EDI, or other manufacturing systems.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or similar integration tools.
• Experience supporting a full-cycle NetSuite implementation within a manufacturing organization.
• Experience with inventory costing and manufacturing-related financial processes.
• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer.
