Role Description

The NetSuite Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Charlotte, NC. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations within NetSuite, including managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The individual in this role will review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor fixed asset activity, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. The NetSuite Accounting Manager will collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline workflows, maintain internal controls, and support audits and compliance requirements. This position also involves optimizing NetSuite configurations, developing accounting procedures, and providing guidance to team members on accounting best practices.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in a NetSuite environment is strongly preferred
• Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with Financial Statements and Finance fundamentals.
• Proficiency in core accounting operations, such as Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management.
• Ability to manage and track Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP/accounting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices, including experience with month-end close and audits.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
