Calance is seeking an experienced Network Performance Engineer in Denver to support enterprise network health and performance. The role focuses on Netscout-based monitoring, dashboard design, and incident response with close collaboration across NOC and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on Netscout experience, a solid foundation in network engineering, and a talent for turning data into actionable visual insights for IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Netscout experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS and VLANs.
• Experience with packet capture and DPI tools.
• Ability to design and implement network performance dashboards.
• Proficient troubleshooting Layer 2–7 in large environments.
• Ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot the enterprise network using Netscout platforms.
• Serve as SME for Netscout tools and provide Tier 2/3 incident support.
• Identify and resolve network performance issues and anomalies.
• Design and maintain real-time dashboards within nGeniusONE, Grafana, Splunk.
• Translate KPIs into executive-ready dashboards and alerts.
• Collaborate with NOC and engineering teams; maintain runbooks and docs.
• Participate in capacity planning and on-call incident response.
