Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a NetApp Business Consultant for a hybrid role in San Jose, CA who can travel. The candidate will support enterprise storage environments, with strong NetApp ONTAP expertise, and lead migrations from Isilon to NetApp.

Experience with EDA infrastructure and collaboration with engineering and operations teams is required. The role demands independent work, excellent communication, and the ability to document findings and progress.

Qualifications

Job Title: NetApp Business Consultant
Location: Hybrid; San Jose, CA (can be remote with travel)
Industry: IT delivery and cloud-based solutions
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $100k+
Basic Job Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience supporting Enterprise Storage environments, with deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP administration and engineering.
• Proven experience planning and executing large-scale storage migrations, specifically Isilon to NetApp migrations.
• Experience working with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) customers and understanding EDA infrastructure requirements.
• Ability to assess existing storage environments and develop comprehensive migration and modernization strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root-cause analysis skills within complex enterprise storage ecosystems.
• Experience collaborating with customer engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support business-critical storage initiatives.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a customer-facing resident consultant role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings, recommendations, and project progress.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is preferred.

• Transfer of Knowledge to other individuals in customer org.
• Promote independence.
