Job summary

NEEC is seeking a NETA Level III/IV Technician to perform and lead acceptance, commissioning, maintenance, and diagnostic testing of electrical power equipment at substations, generation facilities, and utility-scale projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate holds a current NETA Level III or IV certification, can travel extensively across the United States, read electrical drawings and schematics, and operate test equipment from Doble, Megger, Omicron, Vanguard.

Qualifications

• Current NETA Level III or Level IV certification.
• Experience testing medium- and/or high-voltage equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to document and communicate technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead acceptance, commissioning, maintenance, and diagnostic testing of electrical power equipment at substations and facilities.
• Interpret test results and identify abnormal conditions; prepare field reports.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with customers, engineers, and OEMs.
• Ensure safety procedures and testing standards are followed.
