Job summary

Acloché LLC is hiring a union field technician to test and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. The role covers switchgear, transformers, and cable, with opportunities to lead apprentices at senior levels.

You will travel 50–75% and join a union-friendly team. A NETA certification or relevant electrical experience toward certification is required; HV testing experience is a plus. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• NETA certification or electrical experience toward certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable.
• Run high-voltage test equipment, including power factor test sets.
• Commission new installations and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor apprentices and junior techs (senior levels).
