Job summary

PRIME Traffic Control is hiring an Apparatus Technician/Neta Level 2,3,4 for electrical testing projects in the USA. The role entails testing and analysis on power systems, project management, as well as mentoring junior technicians. Required qualifications include NETA certification and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering. Experience in technical service management is essential. Competitive compensation based on experience, with potential higher for NETA techs. Location includes Ashburn, Virginia and other cities.

Qualifications

• NETA III / IV Certification required for higher level roles.
• NETA II certification, or non-NETA apparatus techs with at least 3 years of experience.
• Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in technical services management with a focus on electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical code and standards such as NEC, NESC, and applicable IEEE and ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and analysis on power systems.
• Lead and manage electrical testing projects from start to finish.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NETA standards during testing.
• Prepare reports on testing results and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve electrical issues.
• Be the primary point of contact for field service issues.
• Support data center work.
