The intermediate level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using the .NET framework to support business requirements. This includes technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, and programming languages like C#, C++, as well as scripting languages like TypeScript and JavaScript. Responsibilities include front-end and back-end development of web applications and APIs, following approved development methodologies, creating documentation, and testing. The role requires a bachelor's or associate degree or 3-7 years of experience. The developer should be capable of working independently with limited supervision, with code reviews by the team, and may review junior developers' code.
This position supports and enhances existing web applications within the Enterprise section, mainly involving .NET MVC applications with heavy use of VB .NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Kendo UI, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. The candidate will work closely with the team on designing and developing both front-end and server-side components, participating in requirements analysis, development, testing, code reviews, and documentation. Knowledge of DCF programs, financial applications, and Wisconsin state systems is highly preferred. Experience with DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and strong communication skills are essential.
