Temple University Health System (Philadelphia, PA) is seeking an Epic BI Developer II to collaborate with business owners and IT teams. The role involves translating business needs into Business Intelligence (BI) requirements and developing reporting and analytic solutions.
The focus is on the Epic system and its Clarity and Cogito suite of reporting tools, including Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Radar, and RW. The role may extend to other warehouse solutions like SSIS and Data Marts for data storage or processing. Responsibilities include supporting custom extracts from Epic, coordinating data transmission, and adhering to processes for managing Epic Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Slicer Dicer, and Radar.
Key duties involve analyzing business needs, developing reports using Clarity and Caboodle, providing end-user training, managing report security, and contributing to data warehouse strategies. The role requires close collaboration with EMR and Revenue Cycle Analysts to understand workflows and data structures, designing data presentations, maintaining databases, performing SQL queries, and scripting. Expertise in report writing and ETL processes with SSIS and visualization with SSRS is essential.
Support outside normal hours may be required for Clarity/Caboodle and ETL processes. Remote work is permitted up to 100%, with the employee located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA.
