Job summary

CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is seeking a .NET Software Developer to support the Army Range Managers Toolkit (RMTK) and related .NET web app work. You will analyze work items, write new code, and review peers across teams in a remote-friendly environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with .NET, ArcGIS Pro experience, and Agile background, plus strong communication and GIS knowledge. U.S. citizenship and background checks are required.

Qualifications

.NET Software Developer

.NET Software Developer 5559

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a .NET Software Developer to primarily support the US Army's Range Managers Toolkit (RMTK) project, consisting of a suite of add-ins to be used within ESRI ArcGIS Pro.Additional tasks may include supporting low-level .NET web application development.

Tasks include:

• Work item analysis – Developer will participate in analyzing work items and providing estimates of work to be done
• Code development – Successful candidate will be tasked with both writing greenfield code and refactoring legacy code
• Participate in peer code reviews – This person will help ensure code quality by being an active participant in reviewing pull requests across teams

Requirements

• U.S. citizen
• Must be able to pass local background checks to attain a Common Access Card for system access
• Solid understanding of objected-oriented programming
• Comfortable with high school level geometry concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office products

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret client requirements into specifications, models, code, and systems
• Experience with Agile workflow processes

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with a major in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), math, science, engineering or similar
• MCSD or similarly relevant programming certification
• Security+ certification
