Job summary

CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is seeking a .NET Software Developer to support the US Army RMTK project and related .NET web apps. This remote, full-time position requires strong object-oriented programming, GIS familiarity, and excellent communication skills.

Eligible candidates should have 3+ years in .NET, remote-work experience, and proficiency with Git/Azure DevOps. Bachelor’s degree or 3–4 years equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft .NET coding experience (preferably .NET 8+).
• 1+ years of remote work experience (camera off preferred).
• Experience with Git version control and DevOps platforms.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS apps.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–4 years of related work experience.

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a .NET Software Developer to primarily support the US Army’s Range Managers Toolkit (RMTK) project, consisting of a suite of add-ins to be used within ESRI ArcGIS Pro. Additional tasks may include supporting low-level .NET web application development.

Tasks Include

• Work item analysis – Developer will participate in analyzing work items and providing estimates of work to be done
• Code development – Successful candidate will be tasked with both writing greenfield code and refactoring legacy code
• Participate in peer code reviews – This person will help ensure code quality by being an active participant in reviewing pull requests across teams

Required Skills

• U.S. citizen
• Must be able to pass local background checks to attain a Common Access Card for system access
• Solid understanding of objected-oriented programming
• Comfortable with high school level geometry concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office products

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret client requirements into specifications, models, code, and systems
• Experience with Agile workflow processes

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience writing Microsoft .NET code (preferably .NET 8 or higher)

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or cumulative 3-4 years of equivalent work experience in a related position.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with a major in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), math, science, engineering or similar
• MCSD or similarly relevant programming certification
• Security+ certification
• MOS Certification for MS Office Products
