Job summary

Qualifications

• Required 5 years of experience as a developer.
• Experience with project management tools and databases.
• Experience with multiple coding languages.
• Preferred healthcare experience in health insurance or healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Takes a lead role for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing more complex application enhancements.
• Provides general production support and ensures defined scope, dates and budgets with minimal defects.
• Collaborates with customers, business analysts, partners and IT to understand business requirements.
• Leads in SDLC activities per Highmark standards.
• Communicates project status and documents technical walkthroughs for stakeholders.
• Provides technical support including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 coverage as needed.
• Mentors less experienced team members when required.
