Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a .NET Developer in the United States with strong experience in .NET Core, REST APIs, and cloud-based microservices. The role involves designing, building, and deploying scalable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing expert technical support throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS-native services, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and AI-assisted development tools, with a focus on modern architecture

Job Summary:

• Program and build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework.
• Candidates will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Observability & reliability: CloudWatch, Dynatrace, logging, monitoring, performance tuning
• AI-assisted development (medium): GitHub Copilot, basic LLM integration, Claude, AMS Bedrock
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Experience leveraging AI for workflow automation, analytics, or decision support
• Basic prompt engineering and ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs
• Exposure to AI-enabled data analysis and visualization tools
• Awareness of Responsible AI principles (privacy, bias, compliance)

Pay Range: $57 - $62

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
