Andworx is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a short-term project to develop mission and operational applications for a federal government agency.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will work on an Agile team developing enterprise web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET, .NET CORE, .NET 6, MVC, Entity Framework, Oracle, and Azure DevOps. You will collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to create solutions aligned with customer requirements. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to impact the mission positively.

Note: This position is currently remote but may require on-site work in the Washington, DC Metro area at the customer's request.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in developing enterprise applications, preferably in a Federal Government environment.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET, .NET 6, .NET Core, C#, MVC, MVVM, Entity Framework, and related frameworks.
• Experience in developing web-enabled applications and web services using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with relational data models in an Oracle database environment.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Kanban, and Scrum.
• Experience leading small teams or projects is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Position of Trust clearance (VISA or Green Card holders are not eligible).

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications and support end-to-end software development in an Agile environment.
• Apply coding standards and performance practices to develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Use Agile techniques to create user stories and acceptance criteria.
