What we are looking for

• You possess 4+ years of solid and demonstrable development experience specifically within Unreal Engine 4 and 5 (UE4/UE5).
• You have a deep and comprehensive understanding of Unreal Engine's visual scripting system (Blueprints), C++ programming within UE, and efficient game development workflows.
• You have strong and proven experience in optimizing game performance to ensure smooth and consistent frame rates across various target platforms.
• You have a proven ability to effectively operate, diligently monitor, and thoroughly document complex game systems and their interactions.
• You are a responsible and highly self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision, effectively managing your own tasks and deadlines.
• You possess an upper-intermediate level of English language proficiency, enabling clear and effective communication within our international team.
• You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey technical ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice-to-have:
• Experience in developing multiplayer and networked game features within Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with real-time rendering techniques and visual effects implementation in UE.
• Experience developing applications for Virtual Reality (VR) and/or Augmented Reality (AR) platforms using Unreal Engine.
• Comfortable and effective collaborating with team members working in time zones that align with Central European Time (CET) +/- 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize core gameplay features and underlying systems utilizing Unreal Engine 5.
• Leverage both Blueprints and C++ to create innovative and engaging gameplay mechanics that enhance the player experience.
• Set up and maintain efficient development environments and collaborate effectively with game design and art teams throughout the production process.
• Continuously analyze and optimize game performance across multiple target platforms to ensure a smooth and enjoyable player experience.
• Proactively debug, thoroughly troubleshoot, and effectively solve technical issues that arise throughout the entire game development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and engaging user experience for our players.
