Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) is seeking a .NET Developer to join the Solution Delivery Team. The role focuses on application development and maintenance across SDLC, delivering efficient solutions and adhering to DFI standards.

You will analyze, design, code, test, and deploy complex systems, mentor junior developers, document requirements, and coordinate with clients to ensure compliant, scalable applications ready for production.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and debug complex systems using current development tools.
• Plan integration, system, and client acceptance testing with stakeholders.
• Prepare and update documentation for maintainers.
• Develop deployment documentation for testing and production.
• Train clients and IT staff on the application system.
• Redesign systems for efficiency using new utilities and data structures.
• Model and document database structures; develop data extracts.
• Lead efforts to implement DFI development standards.
• Ensure applications are documented to aid maintenance.
• Orient new employees to DFI standards and procedures.
• Assist with security and privacy protection procedures.
