Elevate Government Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking a .NET Developer to support a Federal client. The role is an individual contributor responsible for maintaining the existing application, adding modules, and addressing performance and functional issues. Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team and communicate effectively.

Preference for DC area with accommodations for the right remote candidate. Must pass a federal background check and obtain a public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of backend development with .NET and Azure.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, microservices, RESTful API, Git, testing, QA, and responsive design.
• Secure coding practices, input validation, RBAC, OAuth, error handling and logging.
• Experience with AI tools.
• Experienced in agile delivery and enterprise software development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to work independently and in distributed teams.

Elevate Government Solutions is a high growth Technology Services company focused on driving technological change in the government space. Our teams engage with various government agencies to develop and deploy emerging technology solutions using a tailored Agile methodology.

We are seeking a .NET Developer to join our organization in support of a Federal client. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the existing application, adding new modules, and addressing performance and functional issues. This role is an individual contributor and applicants must have the skills to be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. Effective communication and prioritization skills are vital for success in this role.

There's a preference for candidates in the Washington, DC area, however accommodations can be made for the right remote candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work closely with the development team to support operations and maintenance (O&M) and new product development activities.

Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using .NET.

Develop new system enhancements, CRs, and resolve defects to improve the application.

Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain to innovative and cutting edge.

Escalate roadblocks and issues to project leadership in a professional and timely manner.

Work closely with project leadership and other stakeholders to implement and/or consult requested solutions.

Must be able to work independently with little to no daily supervision, is a team player, open to ideas and learning.

Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Required skills:

Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field or equivalent work experience

4 years of professional experience in back end development with .NET and Azure

Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, microservices, Restful API, version control, Git, testing and QA practices, and responsive web design.

Experience with secure coding practices, input validation, user role-based access control (RBAC), authentication and authorization (OAuth, IWT), error handling and logging

Experience with AI tools

Expert in all aspects of agile delivery and enterprise software development

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all work activities.

Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems

Must be inquisitive and able to efficiently reach an understanding of complex tasks while using this understanding to produce project artifacts that satisfy project objectives.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Initiative-taker with ability to overcome barriers to entry, and quickly identify decision makers.
