Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team in New York. The role emphasizes product development across Oracle and MS SQL Server environments, with three on-site days per week and two remote days in a hybrid setup.

You will install, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot applications on the Microsoft stack, work with IIS, GitBash, and Jira in an Agile setting, and collaborate to ensure quality across development, QA, and production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of .NET development with Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid onsite/remote environment in NY.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain web applications, APIs, and Windows services.
• Configure and manage IIS, site bindings, SSL certificates.
• Use GitBash for cloning, branching, and updates.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug across development, QA, and production.
• Perform unit and regression testing to ensure quality.
• Configure connection strings and deployment settings.
• Write queries and procedures in MS SQL Server; basic DB maintenance.
• Utilize front-end tech such as JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with team using Jira for sprint planning and tracking.
• Assist in diagnosing production issues and contribute to improvements.
• Ensure proper version control and deployment readiness across environments.
• Work with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core; familiarity with Oracle databases.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience working with Oracle and MS SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack. This role involves both independent task execution and collaborative work within a team-oriented, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
• Configure and manage Internet Information Services (IIS), including application pools, site bindings, SSL certificate installation and renewal.
• Use GitBash for cloning repositories, managing branches, and pulling updates as part of the development workflow.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality, stability, and quality.
• Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and related deployment configurations.
• Work with MS SQL Server to write queries, stored procedures, and perform basic database maintenance.
• Utilize front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.
• Collaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and agile workflow management.
• Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper version control practices, branching strategies, and deployment readiness across multiple environments.
• Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
