Job summary

State of NY is seeking a highly experienced .NET Developer (VB.NET/C#) with over 14 years of experience to design, develop, and deliver N-Tier web applications in an Oracle environment. You will work closely with customers to translate business requirements into robust software solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in web services, WCF, and deployment across multiple environments, including production. Albany, NY, and a client-focused delivery mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .net web applications using VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or higher.
• 84 months experience with relational database design and deployment of sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL, XML type stored procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
• 84 months experience writing Web Services or WCF.
• 84 months packaging, coordinating and deploying code base through environments including production.
• 84 months experience working directly with customers to identify their business processes, rules, and understand application user requirements and issues.
• 84 months experience utilizing JQuery.
• 84 months experience with Team Foundation Server.
• 84 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit testing & leading UAT testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
