Job summary

The State of New Hampshire is seeking a part-time NERIS Program Coordinator to manage the National Emergency Response Information System within the Division of Fire Safety in Concord.

Position is limited to 29.5 hours per week with no health insurance benefits; salary ranges from $19.96 to $26.41 per hour. Training status available with 2+ years of education/experience. Contact for details: [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirement as stated.
• Must pass fingerprint background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Trainee option allowed with 2+ years of relevant education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and overseeing the NERIS program for NH.
• Develops and distributes quarterly statistical reports on emergency response.
• Develops and distributes annual statistical report to local fire departments.
• Provides emergency response statistics for legislative initiatives.
• Gathers data and creates graphs/reports to identify areas of greater risk.
• Gathers information and prepares comprehensive reports on fire losses and the cigarette law reporting.

Education

Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school
