Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Compliance professional to support audit readiness across business units by aligning with NERC Standards and delivering proactive compliance advice. You will partner with BU compliance teams and serve as the single point of contact for ENRA compliance services.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, mitigation planning with SMEs, implementing new standards, developing regulator narratives, conducting gap analyses, and coordinating evidence pulls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, communications, computer science, business or related field.
• Or an Associate’s degree with two years of relevant work experience.
• Five years of experience in electric utility or similarly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause and draft regulator language for incidents.
• Develop mitigation activities with SMEs and track milestones.
• Create and execute implementation plans for new and revised standards.
• Support RSAW development and narrative reviews.
• Assess BU processes for compliance and propose improvements.
• Define evidence of compliance and guide evidence collection.
• Coordinate responses to regulator RFIs.
• Assist with presentations, training, and audits.
