Job summary

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Nephrology specialist at Capitol Hill Medical Center in Washington, DC. This 1.0 FTE role covers nephrology care across three hospitals, with a call rotation every 6-8 weeks and teaching/research opportunities.

Candidate must be MD or DO, board-certified or eligible in nephrology, and licensed or eligible to obtain licenses in DC, MD, and VA. Competitive compensation and rich benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required for nephrology practice.
• Board certification in nephrology or eligibility.
• Current or pending medical licensure in DC, MD, or VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nephrology care across three hospitals including kidney replacement, CKD, and acute nephrology.
• Manage post-kidney transplant follow-up and related ESRD care.
• Participate in teaching and research opportunities as available.
