The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Nephrology specialist at Capitol Hill Medical Center in Washington, DC. This 1.0 FTE role covers nephrology care across three hospitals, with a call rotation every 6-8 weeks and teaching/research opportunities.

Candidate must be MD or DO, board-certified or eligible in nephrology, and licensed or eligible to obtain licenses in DC, MD, and VA. Competitive compensation and rich benefits accompany the position.

What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 1.0FTE, which is the equivalent of 40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Nephrology position that covers all aspects of nephrology hypertension care: kidney replacement treatment, ckd, acute nephrology care in the hospital and post kidney transplant follow up
• Call rotation: Every 6-8 weeks
• Clinical pharmacy support for ESA management
• Responsible for clinical services across three hospitals
• Opportunities for teaching and research available
• Primary practice location: Capitol Hill Medical Center, with partial coverage at Largo Medical Center
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Nephrology
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $305,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
