Job Opportunity : Transplant Nephrologist - Seattle, WA

The Swedish Organ Transplant and Liver Center is seeking a skilled Transplant Nephrologist for locum coverage, offering an opportunity to impact patient lives through critical care. Job Responsibilities :

• Take call for 7 days, from Monday 8 am to the following Monday 8 am.
• Consult on post-kidney transplant patients and write dialysis orders.
• Manage kidney-specific needs and provide nephrology input for liver patients.
• Respond to phone calls from other physicians, ERs, and outside hospitals for advice on immunosuppression management.
• Provide clinic coverage if the candidate is a transplant nephrologist.

Qualifications :

• Board Certification in Nephrology is required.
• Experience in transplant nephrology or direct care of kidney transplant patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, inpatient setting.
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in managing a range of patient needs in a transplant setting.

License and Certification Requirements :

• Active medical license in WA state preferred.
• Board certification must be current and valid.
