Lead Product Safety Physician (SOLID TUMOR ONCOLOGY -remote role)

Role Overview:

• Leads safety for multiple or complex developmental programs.
• Maintains global safety data interpretation for developmental and marketed products.
• Manages safety concerns with support from Safety Physicians and Scientists.
• Ensures patient safety in -sponsored studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees benefit/risk safety profile throughout product lifecycle.
• Enhances knowledge of safety profiles for own competitor products.
• Manages safety concerns for developmental and approved products.
• Leads Development and Medical Affairs teams in handling product safety issues.

Supervisory Duties:

• May supervise safety physicians depending on the program.
• Works with Safety Science and Epidemiology teams to conduct safety assessments and risk management.

Education & Experience:

• MD with accredited residency.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including 6+ years in pharmacovigilance.
• Preferred: Accredited fellowship with 1-year clinical experience in a relevant specialty and strong general medicine knowledge.
