Nephrologist Faculty Position

Job Description:

The Division of Nephrology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is recruiting a Nephrologist to join our faculty. Responsibilities include providing inpatient and outpatient care for a diverse patient population with acute and chronic kidney disease, and teaching medical students, residents, and Nephrology Fellows. Candidates with research experience or a strong interest in research are preferred. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology.

The Einstein-Montefiore Division of Nephrology has a distinguished history of innovation in research, clinical care, and education. It is one of the nation's leading academic Nephrology divisions. The faculty, currently 30 full-time members, are diverse in expertise and are supportive of each other.

The division cares for a patient population with significant racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural diversity. Our faculty are engaged in research to develop strategies for treating and preventing kidney diseases, especially in socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. We also provide care for patients with end-stage kidney disease and have a prominent kidney transplant program. Our research spans basic science, epidemiology, and clinical trials to improve patient care.
