Seeking a full-time Nephrology Clinician-Educator in Bronx, NY

The Division of Nephrology at the Department of Medicine is an academic division with a robust fellowship program, currently training 6 fellows.

The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, including clinical supervision and teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.

1. Inpatient services are provided across 2 hospitals, with an average of 7-10 new consults per day at each facility.
2. Our active outpatient practice covers a wide spectrum of nephrology, from glomerular diseases and vasculitis to chronic kidney disease due to diabetes and hypertension.
3. We are committed to increasing access to nephrology care, focusing on equity and expanding renal transplantation services.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Nephrology is required
• Must qualify for NY Medical License
