Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various experiences are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

About Our Practice

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. We serve approximately 2,300 patients monthly with a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation

• Annual income ranging from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume, for working 4 to 5 days a week.

• No weekend or night call responsibilities.
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are paid by the practice.
• Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit. These services are requested by physicians and speech-language pathologists across various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients.

Work Schedule and Logistics

Requests are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
