Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

About Our Practice

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has since expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support personnel.

Benefits and Compensation

• Annual income ranging from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume, for working 4 to 5 days a week.
• Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipends are available.
• No weekend or night call responsibilities.
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are paid by the practice.
• With over 400,000 evaluations in 19 years, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit (pictured on our website).

Services and Scheduling

We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests for swallowing studies are routed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours in 95% of cases, often the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
