Job summary

Ideal candidates are patient-focused, clinically confident, and adept at telemedicine. Responsibilities include ongoing chronic kidney disease management, follow-up visits, accurate EMR documentation, collaboration with care teams, and adherence to CA regulations.

Qualifications

• CA Licensed NP or PA in good standing; multi-state licenses a PLUS.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
• Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage chronic kidney diseases.
• Conduct follow-up visits and longitudinal care for established patients.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR - Advanced MD.
• Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians as required by CA regulations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Provide patient education and counseling focused on lifestyle, medication adherence, and disease management

About the Role

TeleMed2U isseeking an experienced Virtual Nephrologist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, multi‑specialty telehealth practice. This role focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of nephrology conditions through a fully remote platform. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient‑focused, and comfortable delivering care in a virtual environment.

• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology.
• 1099/W2 Opportunity - 1099 per encounter rates
• W2 Competitive Salary – Range $110k - $130K based on years of experience, plus Bonus
