Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Nephrology) to join our care teams. The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing and active NP/PA credentials with prescriptive authority, with DEA eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate from accredited nursing program.
• Active RN and APRN licenses with prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
• Board certification as NP or PA.
• DEA license or eligibility before hire.

Responsibilities

• Partner with advance practice providers on Nephrology consult services.
• Independently care for hospitalized patients with AKI and CKD.
• Collaborate with care team to formulate plans of care.
• Manage renal replacement therapy, including hemodialysis, CRRT and PD.
