Job summary

VA seeks a Nephrologist to deliver comprehensive subspecialty nephrology care to Veterans in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will ensure high-quality, timely, patient-centered services meeting Joint Commission and VA standards.

Responsibilities include staffing nephrology clinics, inpatient consultations, and supervising trainees, with emphasis on safety and interdisciplinary collaboration within VA guidelines.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required per basic VA policy.
• MD or equivalent degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency training approved by ACGME/AOA; board eligibility or certification.
• Excellent English communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nephrology care to Veterans in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Staff outpatient nephrology clinics and provide inpatient consultations.
