Job summary

The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Colorado is seeking a full-time physician to deliver comprehensive medical care across inpatient and outpatient settings within the assigned service line. You will contribute to program development, provide expert treatment, and participate in teaching trainees.

Applicants should have an MD/DO, be licensed, and either board-certified or board-eligible. ABIM nephrology credentials and ICU/CRRT experience are preferred, with an Education Debt Reduction

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a school approved by VA for the year of completion.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Successful completion of ACGME/AOA accredited residency or equivalent.
• Board certification/eligibility in a primary specialty related to nephrology.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in outpatient and inpatient settings within the service line.
• Develop and sustain clinical programs and participate in quality initiatives.
• Teach and supervise medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned and coordinate with teams.
