Job summary

You will prepare EAs, EISs, permit applications, and supporting materials, interfacing with design teams and clients. Requires 4+ years of experience, a related BS degree, and MS Office/SharePoint proficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Biology, Environmental Planning, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of directly related professional experience.
• Experience preparing NEPA documents and permit applications for capital projects.
• Knowledge of ESA/MBTA and related regulatory processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint; ability to adopt new tools.

Responsibilities

• Document NEPA planning documents (CEs, EAs, EISs) and supporting technical reports.
• Prepare environmental permit applications and supporting materials.
• Analyze impacts on natural resources, infrastructure, and communities.
• Coordinate with design teams to align planning and permitting efforts.
• Interact with clients and agencies; support public engagement activities.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local regulators to obtain permits.
• Support public meetings and responses to public comments.
