Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking Neonatology Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for locum tenens coverage in Lancaster, PA. Work in a new Level II NICU performing neonatal care and daily newborn rounds, with backup call coverage for APs.

Schedule consists of clinical hours only, with patient volumes of 3–6 per shift. Credentialing takes ~90 days; Epic is the EMR. PA/NP licensure in PA or IMLC is required/promoted.

Qualifications

• Board certified in relevant specialty.
• BLS, PALS, NRP required.
• PA/NP licensure in PA or IMLC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care and daily rounds for newborns in a Level II NICU.
• Support Acute Care Providers with backup call coverage.

This facility is seeking three Neonatology Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants (NP's/PA's) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
• Practice Setting: Inpatient; new Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Types of Cases: Neonatal care and daily rounding on newborns, with backup call coverage for Advanced Practice Providers.
• Patient Volume: 3-6 patients per shift.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic.
• Certifications Required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Licensure Required: Pennsylvania medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
