Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Division of Neonatology, in collaboration with The Ohio State University College of Medicine, seeks a board-eligible or board-certified neonatologist to join the Comprehensive Center for Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (CCBPD). The successful candidate will spend time on the CCBPD inpatient service and other Level III/IV care as needed.

The role offers teaching opportunities, involvement in a vibrant research program, and collaboration with the international BPD

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Graduate of an approved fellowship program if applicable, required.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care and treatment to patients.
• Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions.
• Develops and implements treatment plans; monitors progress and adjusts as needed.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Communicates with patients and families to provide education and support.
• Maintains medical records and coordinates care with other professionals.
• Participates in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
