Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a board-eligible or board-certified neonatologist to join the Comprehensive Center for Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (CCBPD). The role includes inpatient CCBPD service with teaching opportunities and a mix of Level III/IV care.

Candidates must have MD or DO, Ohio medical license, and fellowship training if applicable. A passion for multidisciplinary team care and BPD management is essential; research is optional.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship training in neonatology or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment to neonates.
• Conduct patient assessments and diagnose medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per established protocols; monitor progress.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Communicate with families to provide education and support.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as required.
• Pursue ongoing education and research in neonatology.

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable
