Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Neonatology Faculty member for the Main Campus in Columbus, OH. This full-time position requires an MD/DO, completion of a fellowship, Ohio medical licensure, and board eligibility/certification in Pediatrics.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching of residents and fellows, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes up-to-date clinical practice, education, and ongoing clinical research to advance neonatal care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine is required.
• Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable is required.
• Medical License in the State of Ohio is required.
• Unrestricted licensed physician is required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions.
• Develops and implements treatment plans for patients.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Communicates with patients and their families to provide education and support.
• Maintains medical records and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals.
• Participates in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
