Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a full-time Neonatologist for a Level II NICU with 24/7 coverage coordinated by a division of 3 neonatologists and 2 advanced practice providers.

The position includes daytime coverage with on-call from home, rounds, vent weaning, nutrition adjustments, labs, and family meetings, supported by a full ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neonatologist eligible for PA license.
• MD/DO or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a license to practice in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide active management of NICU patients, including vent weaning and nutrition adjustments.
• Facilitate rounds with the NICU team and families.
• Coordinate with Advanced Practice Providers for 24/7 coverage.
• Review labs and discuss care plans with families.
