Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Neonatologist to join our network across Albuquerque. You will provide specialized care for newborns in NICUs and newborn nurseries, collaborating with obstetricians and nurses while contributing to ongoing research.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
• Excellent clinical skills with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical research.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients' families and caregivers.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive medical care for newborns, particularly those born prematurely or with complications.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including obstetricians, pediatricians, and nurses to provide coordinated care for newborns.
• Conducting clinical research to contribute to the advancement of neonatal medicine.
• Educating patients' families and caregivers about their newborn's condition and the care they require.
• Participating in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities to stay updated on the latest developments in neonatal care.
