Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in perinatal team care.
• Mentor nursing and respiratory therapy teams as NICU volume grows.
• Help shape clinical protocols and growth strategies for the NICU program.
• Collaborate with 2 neonatologists and 4.5 neonatal nurse practitioners.

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, board-certified Neonatologist to join and help lead our expanding program at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Your Role & Impact

• Provide collaborative care in the Level III NICU and newborn nursery

• Help shape clinical protocols and growth strategies for a developing NICU program
• Work alongside:
  • 2 Neonatologists
  • 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

NICU Overview

• 8-bed Level III NICU
• 10 LDR couplet care rooms
• Combined census: 9-11 patients/day
• Approximately 1,250 annual deliveries
• Strong in-house OB Hospitalist support
