Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide per diem coverage in Fredericksburg, VA at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. Join a Level III NICU team and help support a growing program with collaborative care alongside neonatologists and OB hospitalists.

The role features 16-hour shifts, on-call delivery attendance, and opportunities to educate RN/RT staff as volume and acuity rise. Requires active NNP certification and RN license in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) with active Virginia license.
• Master’s degree in nursing required; APRN/NNP credential preferred.
• Per diem/agency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daytime collaboration with Neonatologists.
• Nighttime in-house coverage with Neonatologist on call (30-min response).
• Attend deliveries.
• Educate RN/RT teams as volume and acuity increase.

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide per diem coverage at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC). This is your chance to help shape a growing NICU program that prioritizes keeping families together, close to home.
