Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients under the Radiologist direction, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency within the Radiology Department.

You will contribute to patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and staff while adhering to imaging protocols and maintaining equipment and workflow standards in a busy

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible; must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms ensuring safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and document workflows in PACS.
• Acquire and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy of demographic data.
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment per manufacturer standards.
• Assist with scheduling, room stocking, and training of radiology staff and students.
