Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one (1) year of RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency accepted.
• In lieu of one (1) year of RN experience, 1 year of LPN experience for internal candidates within same service line.
• In lieu of Associate degree in nursing, nursing diploma with licensure accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Collect data and perform nursing assessments using age-specific standards and tools.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patient/family and care team.
• Ensure plan changes are communicated to the team and implemented.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical and organizational policies.
