Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Orlando, Florida facility. You will conduct patient assessments, manage oxygen and ventilation therapies, and respond to code blue/rapid response calls.

The role requires strong critical thinking, infection control, and EMR documentation skills. The position includes night shift duties, interdepartmental collaboration, and opportunities to advance clinical expertise within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• State licensure as Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and NBRC credential as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical patient assessments and respiratory therapy procedures per physician orders.
• Set up and maintain invasive and noninvasive ventilation; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Deliver medications and oxygen therapy; conduct lung function testing and ABG analysis.
