Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS required for ER personnel.
• ACLS and critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
