Job summary

Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Maryland is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Pediatric Respiratory Care Department. The role offers exposure to NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO, with supervision and ample learning opportunities in a world-renowned academic setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, applies specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and recommend interventions.
• Administers diverse therapies, including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene.
• Manages invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and participates in emergency care.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to implement tailored care plans.
