Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is seeking a Respiratory Care professional for pediatric and neonatal patient care. Under supervision, you will assess, plan, and implement specialized respiratory therapies in a high-acuity setting, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles with opportunities for growth, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance if you move more than 50 miles, and tuition support to advance

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited Associates Degree program in Respiratory Care.
• Registration by NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• New grads and experienced RCPs are encouraged to apply.
• RCPs with neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Administer diverse therapies including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans.
