Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Neonatal Program Coordinator RN in Tyler, TX. The role leads daily operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and maintains readiness and data integrity within the neonatal program.

The position requires an RN license, active BLS, NRP, and ACLS (Labor & Delivery). A high school diploma or GED plus an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

  • RN License required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
  • NRP certification required.
  • ACLS certification required for Labor & Delivery.
  • BSN preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the neonatal program and oversee patient care quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Level of Care standards and manage daily operations.
  • Maintain data integrity, develop program plans, and ensure readiness.

Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.



Responsibilities


  • Asprogramcoordinator, the individual provides leadership, oversees patient care quality, ensures compliance with Level of Care standards, and manages daily operations.

  • Responsibilities also include maintaining data integrity, developing program plans, and ensuring readiness.

  • The role supports community outreach, represents the organization in regional meetings, and liaises with EMS.

  • The individual collaborates on education initiatives, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to staff development and professional growth.



Qualifications

Job Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing

  • RN Active Nursing license

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

  • NRP

  • ACLS (Labor & Delivery only)



Preferred Job Requirements:


  • BSN

  • 5 years in Clinical Specialty

  • 2 years of Leadership
