Job summary

The Transport Team Respiratory Therapist, RRT at Cook Children's Medical Center is responsible for planning, assessing and providing optimal Respiratory Management and patient care for neonatal and pediatric patients during transport by ground ambulance, fixed wing, or rotor wing.

The team operates under medical control of a Texas-licensed physician and supports transfers by ground ambulance, fixed wing, or rotor wing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent Neonatal and/or Pediatric ICU experience (preferably at Cook Children's Medical Center) or current Neonatal/Pediatric Transport experience.
• Demonstrates evidence of continued professional growth.
• Physical and mental ability to carry out the described job responsibilities.
